During the dinner on Friday evening, a tribute in honour of the children and adults with Rett syndrome, their families and friends, was held. Another highlight that night was a raffle, the prize for which had been kindly donated by Link-AT, namely, a one month free trial of a Tobii Dynavox eye gaze device. Link-AT is an Australian supplier of assistive technology products and services. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and software, computer/device access products, products for special education and mounting equipment, are also part of their product portfolio. The dinner was sponsored by this organisation.
Eye gaze technology is at the core of their business with the eye gaze packages tailored for a wide variety of users and needs.
